We are proud to present the exciting program for our 4th Project Management seminar. The biggest ISPE network event in the Netherlands!
Speakers working for the top 10 of World's Life Science Companies are enthusiastically looking forward to share their knowledge and experience with you. Like previous years several chapters from the ISPE Manual on Project Management are on the agenda. This time we will dig into the subjects construction, validation and commissioning. We will pay extra attention to LEAN. Please find more information below! Subscribe today via our app [1] (pmcop) or via our website www.pmcop.nl [2]
"LEAN PROJECT MANAGEMENT" BY SARAH FITZGERALD, DIRECTOR LEAN PROJECT DELIVERY EUROPE, MSD. MSD started the journey for lean project execution several years ago. Sarah will share with you what changed in the project methodology, the barriers she faced, the lessons learned and why MSD is convinced LEAN is so important to adhere. Sarah has her Masters in Chemical & Process Engineering. She worked on projects on both technical and project management roles internationally for more than 15 years including different project sizes, complexities and types. She has experience with retrofits, Brownfield, Greenfield, product launches, shutdowns and with modular fabrication.
"LEAN CONSTRUCTION" BY DR. MARTIN SORENSEN, CEO AND PROGRAM MANAGER OF ENVIOLET. Martin is professionally active in industrial water treatment and purification since more than 20 years. He supports global Life Science companies (pharma & food) with state of the art technology of UV-Oxidation, disinfection in place, photo-preparation and more. High demand from market and permanently increasing requirements cause extreme pressure on implementation teams. This inspired Martin to develop an integrated construction and testing approach ("lean"). The result is that projects can be realized with less time at same high quality level of project delivery and minimum customers disappointed because of order backlog by lowest possible lead-time.
"LEAN VALIDATION AND COMMISSIONING" BY KEVIN DIGNAM, INDEPENDENT ENGINEER, TRAINER AND COACH. Kevin has 30 years of Engineering & Installation experience in Life Science companies (pharma & food). In many different roles like consultant, engineer, manager and trainer he supports organizations with various validation and commissioning challenges. In his jobs Kevin often has to deal with delay in previous stages of the project. As a consequence he encounters impatient management and major time pressure on his activities. This challenged Kevin to adapt his methodology to a lean approach and assessed it with his customers. Although he knows it won't prevent project delay in previous stages, he feels very confident about his contribution to lead-time reduction and faster time to market and is exited to share his lean approach with you!
A FACILITY TOUR in the brand new Biotech Training facility in Leiden will be part of the program. RONALD KOMPIER, DIRECTOR OF BTF and host will inform you about the standard and customized training courses including GMP.
